Deaf & Hard of Hearing

Occupational Mathematics

This class will teach students math skills that are used regularly on the job or needed for specific jobs. This course will improve a student’s reading skills for them to solve word problems that may come up on the job. If math skills are needed to advance on the job, this class will support job advancement.

Reading Skills for the Job

This class will help make it easy to read emails and letters from co-workers, even important ones. This class will also give training on how to write emails, letters, and fill out forms properly.

Test-Taking Skills for On-the-Job Advancement

This class will help students learn how to take tests used to qualify them for a specific job or support them to advance on the job. If certificates or licenses are needed for a job, and a test is required, this class will help.
